OHSAH’s Home and Community Care Conference 2007
The Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare in BC (OHSAH) hosted a successful Home and Community Care Conference on February 26th, 2007 at the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel. Approximately 150 participants attended the conference representing a good cross section of all Home and Community Care stakeholders from across the province. Conference presenters included academics, Community Health Workers (CHWs), and Union and Employer representatives. The conference had two initial objectives: 1. To share the results of the Home and Community Care initiatives of the Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare (OHSAH) and, 2. To seek stakeholder input to determine topics of concern for OHSAH to focus on in the future.
